The Board of ED (Doctoral School) STEP is informed of the state of registrations for the current year, of the recruitment campaign for the following year and consulted on any question relating to the life of the ED and in particular on the organization of the contest of doctoral contracts from the UGA and USMB establishments. It deliberates on the proposals made by the management of the ED on all aspects of regulations, organization and the implementation of new procedures. It is also a body for transmitting ED policy to laboratory management teams. It is also proactive on all these aspects.

This Board has 27 members:

  • 7 members, 1 for each of the management teams of the 7 laboratories attached to the ED.
  •     5 HDR members attached to the ED and chosen for their scientific expertise.
  •     5 members elected from among doctoral students.
  •     4 external members from the industrial and socio-economic sectors.
  •     The ED manager.
  •     The president of the HDR Committee also chairs the ED Council.
  •     The USMB correspondent at the ED.
  •     the two members of the management team of the ED
