Competition for STEP Doctoral Contracts
The competition for ordinary Doctoral Contracts will allow the awarding of Doctoral Contracts (7 UGA, 1 USMB were awarded in 2023).
Consult the thesis subjects proposed for the competition It is important to note that each laboratory direction has the possibility of defining a list of priority subjects among all the subjects proposed.
February 23: deadline for supervisors to enter subjects on ADUM
March 6-10: posting of topics and piorities on the Website
March – mid-May: Candidates contact a thesis director proposing a subject and together, they constitute the Single Application Files
>>> Admissibilty critéria:
The application file must be completed and provided in electronique formas a single pdf file. The application form must be signed by the candidate, the thesis director and the director of the host laboratoryor his representative.
>>> Criteria :
Candidate : 1 - Academic performance Licence, Master 1 et 2. 2- Professional and research experience 3 - Suitability of candidate's profile for the thesis subject
Management Team : 1- Priority given to the subject by the laboratory 2- Qualitu of past and current supervisions 3- Candidate selection procedure
Publication of results: a list of candidates eligible for the audition.
Format : 10 min presentation of the M2 research internship and the thesis project - 15 min discussion with the Jury.
Criteria : (complementary to the admissibility jury) 1- Scientific qualituy of the M2 research intership. 2- Appropriation of the thesis subject. 3- Motivation of the candidate and adequacy candidate – sujet. 4- Professional project.
